Automatic Detection Method of TA Polarity of Zero Sequence Differential Protection for Generator Transformer Unit

摘要: 介绍了零序差动保护原理,针对升压变压器零序差动保护电流互感器(TA)极性校验的问题,利用升压变压器空充时励磁涌流产生的不平衡电流,提取自产零序电流和中性点零序电流的特征量,提出发变组零序差动保护TA极性自动校验方法,并进行动模实验和现场空充波形测试。实验结果表明,采用该方法能在升压变压器空充时自动并准确识别中性点零序TA极性,大大简化零序差动保护TA极性校验流程,为发电机变压器组零序差动保护的广泛应用提供了技术保障。

Abstract: This paper introduces the principle of zero sequence differential protection, aiming at the problem of polarity verification of step-up transformer zero sequence differential protection current transformer (TA), uses the unbalanced current generated by magnetizing inrush current when the transformer is charged, extracts the characteristic quantity of self-produced zero sequence current and neutral point zero sequence current, proposes automatic detection method of TA polarity for zero sequence differential protection of generator transformer unit, and carries out dynamic simulation experiment and the field waveform playback test. The experimental results show that this method can automatically and accurately identify the polarity of neutral point zero sequence current transformer when the no-load step-up transformer is charged, greatly simplify the zero difference polarity verification process, which provides technical support for the wide application of zero sequence differential protection of generator transformer unit.
