Research on Distributed Photovoltaic Grid Connection Modeling Based on RTDS

Abstract: With the large-scale development of distributed photovoltaic, it is necessary to strengthen the modeling research of distributed photovoltaic grid connection. Firstly, based on RTDS real-time simulation platform, photovoltaic grid connected models such as photovoltaic array, grid connected inverter, filter and isolation transformer are established. Secondly, when the power grid is three-phase symmetrical, the double loop control structure is used to build the photovoltaic control system model. Then, considering the asymmetric fault of power grid, a photovoltaic negative sequence control model based on double synchronous rotating coordinate system is established. Finally, the simulation results show that the proposed model also has good performance in case of power grid failure, and it is verified that photovoltaic negative sequence control can effectively reduce negative sequence current and current distortion.
