Influence of Fault Crossing Characteristics of New Energy on Transient Voltage

Abstract: The weak support and low immunity of the new energy power electronic interface have changed the operating characteristics of the power system, now the fault-through characteristics of conventional photovoltaic power plants have not yet been clearly required by standards, and the actual change characteristics of the dynamic reactive current have little research on the impact of the power grid. Based on the measured data of the fault ride-through test of a photovoltaic power station, a simulation model that can effectively reflect the actual fault-through behavior is established under PSASP, and the influence of the dynamic reactive current change characteristics of the photovoltaic power station under fault conditions on the transient voltage of the power grid is studied.The results show that excessive dynamic reacitve current backregulation cluring fault crossing recovery can cause transient overvoltage after fault recovery.
