Abstract: In order to overcome the gain-bias fault of the actuator during the operation of the double fed induction generator, a second order non-singular fast terminal sliding mode fault tolerant control is designed by combining the PID sliding surface with the nonlinear non-singular terminal sliding mode surface, and by associating the sliding mode surface function with the control gain using a new adaptive reaching law. Then Lyapunov function is used to prove the stability of the controller. The simulation and experimental results show that compared with the traditional PID and the traditional sliding mode control, the proposed control method weakens chattering, improves the response speed by 49.8%, reduces the steady-state error of the system, and has better fault tolerance.
