Study and Optimization on Heat Transfer Performance of Symmetric Inclined Fin Reinforcement Plate Radiator

Abstract: A numerical study is carried out on the rectangular air passage between adjacent fins in the chip radiator of a large oil-immersed transformer, and the length Lf and height Hf of the symmetric diagonal ribs are taken as structural parameters to control the shape of the diagonal ribs. The numerical results show that Lf and Hf have a synergistic effect on increasing Nusselt number (Nu)of rectangular channel, while Hf has a stronger influence on friction coefficient f of rectangular channel. The proxy model between the objective performance and design parameters of rectangular channel is established by Kriging model. Finally, the optimal parameter combination is obtained by multi-objective optimization algorithm. Under this parameter combination, the Nu of rectangular channel is increased to 2.26 times, the f is increased to 3.39 times, and the comprehensive heat transfer performance index is 1.52.
