Insulator Corona Analysis Method Based on UAV-Borne UV Image Data

Abstract: :The use of UAV-borne UV imaging equipment to obtain the operating status of insulators has become an important means for line operation and maintenance personnel. Based on the UV image data of UAV, this paper adopts video analysis and digital image processing algorithm to extract the image parameters to obtain UV image information and analyzes the situation of insulator corona. The results show that this method can meet the needs of field detection and achieve the best detection effect when the observation distance is 4m and the gain is 60%.,and it helps to establish a more accurate corona analysis method and improve the application range of UV-borne UV sensing.
